ELECTRICAL TOOLS

TOOLS I RECOMMEND

Reliable tools and electrical gear I’d actually use on the job. I focus on quality, usefulness and value — from everyday hand tools to meters, testers and power tools.

  • Professional electrical tools

  • Meters, testers & troubleshooting gear

  • Power tools & jobsite essentials

Milwaukee M18 FUEL Impact Driver

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Impact Driver is a powerful, compact tool that's great for electrical installations, fastening strut, mounting equipment, and everyday jobsite work. Its cordless design makes it especially convenient when working on ladders or moving between locations.

Klein Tools CL810 Digital Clamp Meter

A reliable True RMS clamp meter for measuring AC/DC current, voltage, resistance, and troubleshooting electrical systems. A useful tool for electricians working on residential and commercial jobs.

Elory Holster Bundle Heavy (PRO X Z).

I purchased this tool belt myself and really like it. The leg straps help take weight off my waist while keeping my essential hand tools within reach.

The left-side pouch is great for carrying small parts, although I recommend cleaning it out daily to remove accumulated screws and jobsite debris.

A practical setup I'll continue using and would recommend to other tradespeople.

GOLF GEAR

Golf Gear I Recommend

Golf equipment and accessories worth checking out — from clubs and training aids to rangefinders, balls and other gear that can make your time on the course better.

  1. Clubs, balls & golf accessories

  2. Rangefinders & golf technology

  3. Training aids & practice gear

TaylorMade P790 Irons

I personally own and play with the TaylorMade P790 irons, and I've been really happy with them. When I strike the ball cleanly, the feel and sound are fantastic. I can usually tell I've hit a great shot just by the sound of the club!

Distance has been excellent for my swing. I was professionally fitted and tested several different brands before choosing the P790s. They've also held up extremely well over time.

Overall, I'm very happy with these irons and would definitely recommend trying them during a professional fitting.

Bat-Caddy X6R Electric Golf Caddy

I personally own the Bat-Caddy X6R SLA Remote Control Golf Caddy, and overall, I've really enjoyed using it. I love walking the golf course, and not having to carry my clubs or rent a riding cart has been a game changer.

The remote control is responsive, everything operates as expected, and I haven't experienced any battery life issues.

There are a couple of drawbacks. The short wheelbase makes the cart somewhat tipsy, especially with my golf bag, which seems to make it top-heavy. The original plastic washers also wore out quickly, causing the cart to wobble. I replaced them with metal washers, which made it noticeably more stable.

Despite those issues, I'm happy with the cart. It makes walking 18 holes much more enjoyable, and I'd recommend it to golfers who prefer walking the course.

ECHO T-LOCK 2.0 Golf Cart Bag.

I've owned the ECHO T-LOCK 2.0 Cart Bag for about two years, and I absolutely love it! The club-locking design keeps my clubs securely in place, so they don't rattle around, even when I'm using my Bat-Caddy electric golf cart.

The bag has held up extremely well. The waterproof pockets have kept my belongings dry, and there's plenty of storage. Actually, there are so many pockets that sometimes I forget where I put things! Haha.

The front cooler compartment also does a great job keeping my drinks cool during a round.

My only complaint is that the bag is fairly tall, making it a little top-heavy. When combined with my Bat-Caddy, it can make the cart somewhat tipsy.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with the bag. It's durable, organized, quiet, and a great choice for golfers who like keeping their equipment secure.

K-Duo® Hot & Iced Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker (Gen 2)

I purchased the Keurig K-Duo Hot & Iced Coffee Maker in May 2026, and I've been very happy with it so far.

I use the full coffee pot more often than the single-serve K-Cup option, but both work great.

One of my favorite features is the automatic brewing. I can set it up ahead of time and have fresh coffee ready when I want it. The auto-brew feature lets you choose between 6, 8, 10, or 12 cups, which gives you plenty of flexibility depending on how much coffee you need.

My daughter has also tried the iced coffee feature and really liked it.

The K-Cup side works exactly as advertised, making it convenient when you only want one cup instead of brewing a full pot.

Overall, I'm very happy with this coffee maker. It's convenient, easy to use, and gives you several brewing options in one machine. I would definitely recommend it.
